Pamela Sue Ramsey, 58, of Evansville, passed away Monday, March 11, 2019, at St. Vincent Hospital. She was born July 12, 1960 in Mt. Vernon, IL to Betty (Downen) Woodward and the late Gale Monroe.

Pamela was a graduate of Mt. Vernon Township High School in Mt. Vernon, IL and attended USI.

Pamela worked in advertising for several TV and Radio stations in the Tri- State, her recent work was at Medical Staffing Solutions. Pamela was a devoted and loving daughter and mother. She selflessly cared for others and was a passionate advocate for addiction awareness and recovery.

She was creative and had a smile that would light up the room. She loved to play tennis and cycle. Pam will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

Pamela is survived by daughters, Kate and Mary Ramsey; sister, Kim Monroe; half-brother, Brian (Kimber) Monroe; mother, Betty Woodward; half-sister, Gayla Woodward; nephews, Gregory, Hank and Eli; father of Kate and Mary, Cliff Ramsey; step-father, Robert Woodward, Sr. In addition to her father, Gale Monroe, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Robert Woodward, Jr. Visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2019, at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave. , Evansville. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
