Susan “Jan” (Brant) Zehner, age 74, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at Golden LivingCenter – Brentwood. Jan was born January 1, 1945, in Evansville, IN, to Linden and Joan (Moore) Brant. She graduated from Bosse High School in 1963.

Jan loved cooking. Back in the 60s and 70s, she was a gourmet cook. Jan also enjoyed gardening, and she loved her cats, Furface, Miss Kitty, Jake, and Pandora.

She is survived by her daughters, Andrea Nichols (Jim), Susan Perna, Laura Roth, and Kristie Bach (Gregg); sisters, Deena Stovall (Mike) and Kristie Hayden; grandchildren, Jamie Everly (Brandon), Andrew Nichols (Taylor), Zachary Roth, Emma Roth, Baylee Bach, and Nicholas Bach; and great grandchildren, Ainsley Everly. She is preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband, John Zehner. Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Father Ted Tempel officiating.

Burial will be Private in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time, Saturday, March 16, 2019 at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL. Memorial Contributions may be made to: Vanderburgh Humane Society at 400 Millner Industrial Drive, Evansville, IN 47710.
