Donna’s Obituary Funeral services for Donna Lucretia Harrison will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home in Hugo, OK, with Bro. Larry Minchey officiating, a private family burial to follow; Donna passed away February 10, 2019, in Soper, OK at the age of 74. Donna Lucretia (Brown) Harrison was born March 6, 1944, in Lawton, OK, to Warren G. Brown and Edith Ethel (Clifton) Brown.

She was of the Methodist faith, and regularly attended the Cowboy Church, in Soper, OK. Donna was born and raised in the Lawton/Duncan area, and had lived in the Soper area since 1975. She married the love of her life, Wiley Harrison, September 3, 1966, in Apache, OK, and they enjoyed 52 wonderful years together.

Donna received a Bachelor’s Degree, in Vocational Home Economics, from OSU, a Master’s Degree, in Home Economics, from SOSU, and a Counseling Degree, also from SOSU. She worked as a social worker for the Dept. of Human Services, taught Home Economics at Colbert, OK and at Big Cabin, OK, and the High School Counselor at Soper, OK.

She enjoyed reading, sewing, and riding horses. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Warren G. “Freckles” and Edith Ethel Brown; and one grandchild, Billie Harrison. Donna is survived by her husband, Wiley, of the home; two sons, Cody Harrison and Toma Payne, of Soper, OK, John Harrison and wife, Carla, of Soper, OK; four grandchildren, Chaten Harrison, Addison Harrison, Cazwell Harrison, and Charlee Harrison; as well as many, many other relatives, and friends.
