Obituary for Doris A. Gibson (Reed) Doris Gibson, 85 of Hampstead, passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at the Dove House in Westminster. She died of complications from a recent fall. Born August 17, 1932 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Claude S. and Grace Wolfgang Reed and was raised on a farm in Melrose.

Doris was the wife of Eugene C. Gibson, her husband of 66 years. She was retired from Random House. Surviving in addition to her husband is son Doug Gibson, son Barry Gibson and wife Teresa, and son Scott Gibson and wife Karen; grandchildren Jason Gibson and Meloni Gibson and great granddaughter Madelyn Gibson.
