Doris Ann Harris died February 23, 2019 in Lexington at the age of 64 years 11 months 30 days. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Wadley’s Funeral Chapel in Purcell. Interment will follow at the Lexington Cemetery, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

Doris was born February 24, 1954 in Henryetta, Oklahoma to Earl and Mary Luceal (Wilkinson) Simmons. She was raised and attended school in Henryetta. On October 24, 1970, She married Aaron Monroe Harris in Henryetta, Oklahoma.

They made their home in Lexington, Oklahoma. Doris enjoyed reading, sewing, crafting and spending time at Hobby Lobby. She also enjoyed taking car rides, and watching cooking shows.

Doris loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is a member of the General Assembly and Church of the First Born in Purcell. Doris is preceded in death by his parents, Earl Simmons and Mary Luceal Skinner; daughters, Rebekah Scott and Zedna Luceal Harris; son, Aaron Harris, Jr.; sisters, Mary Skinner and Sharon Rosengarten.

Survivors include her daughter, Mialissia “MeMe’ Patrick; son in law, Kelly Patrick, Sr.; grandchildren, Kelly Patrick, Jr., Richard Aaron Patrick, Alex Evans, Angel Evans; sisters, Barbara Skinner, Rhonda Fulton and husband Gregg, Rene Ivey, Martha Jones; brother, Earl Simmons; honorary son, Ryan Simmons, close friend, Betty Dunn; and numerous other relatives and friends.
