Doris E. Rogers, 89, Sandusky, died peacefully Monday morning, September 24, 2018, at her residence. She was born in Sandusky on March 28, 1929, to the late Edward and Elva (Puckrin) Pfistner. She was employed by J.C. Penny’s and sold Avon for over 40 years.

Doris loved traveling, baking, her pool, and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her children, Jerry Rogers, Berlin Heights, OH, Johnnie (Barb) Rogers, Plymouth, OH, and Jodie (John) Baum, Sandusky; grandchildren, Todd, Beth, Mark, Dustin, Kurt, Emily, Travis and Janice; and fifteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne D. Rogers in 2010 and her parents.

Friends may call on Thursday, September 27, 2018, from 4 P.M. until time of memorial services at 5 P.M. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave. , Sandusky. Rev.

Darrell Gant will officiate. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made in Doris’s name to Stein Hospice Service, 1200 Sycamore Line Sandusky, OH 44870. Condolences to the family may be made by visiting toftfuneralhome.com.
