Obituary for Doris J. “Dody” Hoel DORIS J. “Dody” HOEL, 90, passed away peacefully July 26, 2018. Beloved wife of 57 years to Wilbert “Bud” (deceased); devoted mother of Aileen Schoening (Randy), Sue Gulley (Curt) and Beth Boso (Larry); cherished grandmother of Matt Schoening (Steph), Brent Schoening (Meghan), Nathan Schoening (Jenna Somrak), Beck Gulley, Kaitlin Boso and Evan Boso; great-grandmother of five (Sydnie, Oliver, Nora, Gwen & Kassadie Schoening); dear sister of Edwin “Eddie” Shomo (deceased), Roger “Bo” Shomo (deceased), and Rebecca “Becky” Yurt (deceased), and aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Doris was a long term resident of Brook Park and worked as a teacher for 22 years at Brook Park Memorial Elementary.
