Doris Jean Trimble, 86, Home, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 while at Communities at Indian Haven. The daughter of Arthur and Grace (Harvey) Davis, she was born March 21, 1932 in Ernest. Doris always enjoyed watching wrestling on television and especially cherished bingo night where her and her daughters would play bingo as a family.

Doris will be remembered as a woman who strongly believed in the Lord and was a kind, loving, devoted mother and grandmother who always made her children and grandchildren feel loved and needed. Surviving are her children, Deborah (William) Binnall, Homer City, Marion (Edward) Emigh, Clymer, and Cheryl (John) Bracken, Home; grandchildren, John Bracken, Home, Justin Spencer, Clymer, Hayley Ruffner, Homer City, Jessica (Aidan) Barton, Blairsville, and Ryan (Joanna) Zack, Homer City; great grandchildren, John Everett Bracken, Taylon and Trent Ruffner, Oliver and Avery Zack, Mya, Paige, and Tanner Barton; nephew, Robert (Marlene) Volkin; nieces, Janet (Peter) Germanowski and Rebecca (George) Kurtz. Preceding Doris in death were her parents; husband, Everett; and a brother Robert Davis.

Friends will be received on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in the Lefdahl Chapel with Rev. John Sykes, officiating.

Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.
