Dorothy Blanche Davis Our family’s energizer bunny, left her earthly body to be in the presence of her Lord and Savior on Friday, November 9, 2018. Dorothy, 100, was born on August 23, 1918 in Lansing, Michigan. She is survived by her children, Keith (Dani) Davis Jr., Renee (Al) Ethridge; grandchildren, Keith III, Jessica, Cory, Cassidy, Kim, Kelly, Kristin and several great grandchildren.

Dorothy was adopted and raised by her grandparents in Lansing. She enjoyed ice skating and met… Read More » her husband Keith at an ice rink. At the age of 74 she joined a senior ice skating club called the Silver Blades and was in many of their performances.

Dorothy attended Cosmetology school and after graduation owned and operated her own shop, Renee’s Coiffures in Holt, Michigan. She was a faithful attender of the First Baptist Church in Eaton rapids and even attended the Sunday before her passing. Dorothy was baptized in the river at the camp grounds in Eaton Rapids on August 17, 2009 at the age of 90.

The following is her toast to life that she often shared. “Here’s to life, we come into it naked and bare and where we go only God knows where, but if we do what’s right here, we will be all right there”. A memorial service will be held for Dorothy at a later date.
