Obituary for Dottie L. Turner (Bobbie King) Dottie L. Turner (Bobbie King), age 80, of Ovett, passed away on June 20, 2018, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel. Services will be held at Memory Chapel in Laurel. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Friday, June 22rd and the service will Saturday at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Erata Cemetery.

Rev. Paul Holliman will officiate. Mrs. Turner was a homemaker and a member of Ellisville Church of God.

She had a deep love for her family, grandchildren and God, and lead many people to Christ. She loved to cook and her home was always open to family and friends alike. She also had a passion for the Country Western Culture.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Rupert Stein and Willie Mae Brady; and her son, David Gayle Jones. Survivors include her granddaughter and loving caregiver for 10 years, Bobbie Van Rossum; son, James Dale (Marla) Jones of Tennessee; two daughters, Donna Lois (Joe) Dearman of Laurel and Judy (Harvey) Jones of Moss; brother, Cecil Soto of Hurley; sister, Jewel Havard of Laurel; eleven grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; and three great, great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Shaun Dearman, Beau Jones, Richard Dearman, John Pryor, William Jones, and Tayden Jones.
