Earl “Bud”‘s Obituary Earl Earnest “Bud” Greenfield was born September 18, 1939 in Parkland, Oklahoma to parents Roy and Ida (Covington) Greenfield. Bud was baptized into the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn on June 1, 1956 by Brother Louis Wright. After graduating from Agra High School in 1958 he moved to Wichita, Kansas where he met his wife of 49 years, Glenda Box and married her on June 4, 1960.

Bud retired from General Motors after 25 years and enjoyed serving on the Chandler City Council for two elected terms. After the loss of Glenda in 2009 he grieved her passing, eventually he found a companion in Sister Janice Herrmann and they were married on December 19, 2015. Bud and Janice were able to find a lot of joy in the short time they had as husband and wife, it put a spring back in his step, and a twinkle back in his eye.

Bud passed peacefully from this life on January 19, 2019 in Chandler, Oklahoma. He is preceded in death by his parents, two beautiful wives; one brother, Jim Hopper; three sisters, Zeola Wilkinson, Karen Linder, and Gearl “Sis” Wright. Bud is survived by his son, Greg and wife Sheila Greenfield of Chandler, OK; daughter Tammy and husband Rusty Deaton of Paducah, TX; step children, Terry Herrmann and wife Diane, Linda Fick and husband Terry, Curtis Herrmann and wife Karla, Lora Jackson and husband Gerald, and Kyle Herrmann and wife Courtney; seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; sister, Marvadeen McCracken; and many extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial donations be made in his honor to Parkland Church of the Firstborn and may be sent to the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at the Church of the Firstborn, Parkland, Oklahoma. Brother Richard Wright and Brother Gerald Jackson will be officiating, interment to follow at Parkland Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, Oklahoma.
