OBITUARY Earl C. Morrison Jr. January 1, 1928 – July 28, 2018 Funeral Service for Earl C. Morrison, Jr. 90 of Weaver will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Gray Brown-Service with Rev. Ronny Moore officiating. A private burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mr. Morrison was born in Cleburne County, Alabama on January 1, 1928 to Earl C. Morrison Sr. and Eunice Holcomb Morrison. Mr. Morrison was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather.

He was survived by his wife of 67 years, Mary Elnor Morrison, two daughters, Diane Mitchell (Doug) of Jacksonville, and Denise Burgess (Jeff) of Wellington, and two sons, Brad Morrison (Lynn) of Kissimmee, FL and Rodney Morrison (Phyllis) of Jacksonville and one sister, Marie Guthrie of Ohatchee. Mr. Morrison was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Ella Mae Polland of Centre. Pallbearers will be Brian Grubbs, Kevin Mitchell, Kevin Earl Mitchell, Josh Gilchrist, Andrew Boudousquie and Kenneth Cash.

Honorary Pallbearers will be his great grandchildren. Mr. Morrison retired after 40 years at Anniston Army Deport which included Military service during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of West Point Baptist Church.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the nurses and staff at McGuffey’s Nursing and Kindred Hospice.
