OBITUARY Jerry “Whitey” Franklin White February 3, 1938 – July 23, 2018 Funeral service for Jerry Franklin “Whitey” White, 80 of Anniston will be 1:00 pm, Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary. Burial will follow at Holly Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12-1:00pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. White passed away July 23, 2018 at Anniston RMC. Survivors include his daughters, Patricia Karg (Steve) of Hoover, AL Denise Crocker (Jack) and Kimberly Bolden (Richard) both of Buchanan, GA; grandchildren, Joshua, Anna and Christopher Karg, Caitlin Beasley and Cody Bolden; longtime beloved friend and brother-in-law, Billy Couch; nieces and nephews, Donnie White, Peggy Brand, Cynthia Dickinson, Debra Allen, Jackie Richardson, Michelle Gordon and Allison Couch. He is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Mary Elizabeth Karg; parents, Matthew and Creola White; his brothers, Rudolph White and Baylice White and sisters, Jewell White, Ann Couch and Marie Borders.

Pallbearers will be Steve Karg, Joshua Karg, Jack Crocker, Cody Bolden, Donnie White and Greg Brand. Honorary Pallbearer will be Billy Couch. Mr. White retired after 30 years from Winn Dixie and was an avid sports fan, especially Alabama football.

He was of the Baptist faith. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Diversicare of Oxford, Alabama; Anniston Regional Medical Center 5th floor and Dr. Divalentin for the loving care of our Daddy.
