OBITUARY Tammy Bridgitte Coker August 29, 1959 – July 19, 2018 Funeral service for Tammy McCombs Coker, 58, of Anniston will be at 11am on Monday, July 23rd, 2018 at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with Dr. C.O. Grinstead officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Sunday night at the funeral home.

Mrs. Coker passed away on Thursday night. Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Donnie Coker; daughters Merideth Donnette Hicks (Phillip Blankenship) and Bridgitte Ladonna Smith (Daniel); grandchildren Riley and Kennedy Hicks, Autumn and James Smith, Andrew Watkins, and Madison and Jonathan Blankenship; sisters Linda Tucker (Pete), Kathy Frost (Gary), Susan Henderson (Paul), and Sarah McCombs; and brother Dean McCombs (Tamula). Mrs. Coker is preceded in death by her parents Dewey and Shirley Martin McCombs; brother Gene McCombs; and son-in-law Jason Hicks.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Edwards, Hunter Lyner, Cody Duran, Seth Turner, Phillip Blankenship, Clay Coker, and Dean McCombs Jr Mrs. Coker was a creative woman who employed her talents through flower arranging and ceramics. She enjoyed nature and spending time at the river with her family.

Tammy never met a stranger and was a friend to everyone who knew her. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and will be greatly missed.
