Earl’s Obituary Earl Stevens, Jr., 91, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Regional One in Memphis. He was born on May 1, 1927, in Houston, MS, to the late Earl Stevens, Sr. and the late Jimmie Bennett Stevens. Earl was a district manager for Life of Georgia Insurance and was a very active member of First Baptist Church.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a member of Al Chymia Shrine. Earl served his country in the United States Army. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 23, 2019 at First Baptist Church with the Rev.

Mike Hickman officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the church. Survivors include his daughter, Dwana Huffstutter and husband, John, of Collierville; a son, Dwayne Stevens of Columbus, MS; two sisters, Ann Spradlin and Claudia Cage, both of Hollandale, MS; and a grandson, Sam Huffstutter of Tampa, FL. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary E. Stevens; and a brother, Charles Stevens.

Memorials may be directed to First Baptist Church, 220 Masonic Street, Dyersburg, TN 38024.
