Ebony Sherece “Sally” Mattingly, 19, of Bardstown, passed away Monday June 18, 2018 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. She was born November 12, 1998 in Bardstown, employee for Little Caesars Pizza, student at Elizabethtown Technical College, a 2017 graduate of Bardstown High School, and a member of St. John AME Zion Church. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Robert Knott Mattingly and Edna Mattingly.

She is survived by her mother Mary Mattingly; father, Darnell Phillips; two brothers, Darius Downs, and Derrick Downs; sister, Dana Phillips; maternal grandmother, Betty Sue Mattingly; maternal grandfather, John W. Smith all of Bardstown; three aunts, Rosaline (Val Gene) Hayes, Gwendolyn Mattingly, and Yolanda (Tony) Stone; and a host of cousins. Her funeral service will be 2:00 pm Friday June 22, 2018 at St. John AME Zion Church, with burial in Bardstown Cemetery. Rev.

Roscoe M. Linton will officiate. Visitation will be 11 am to 2 pm Friday June 22 at her church. Memorial contributions may go to American Heart Association.
