Eddie Eugene Stevenson, Sr., age 78, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at his home. He was born in Laurens County, and was a son of the late Margaret Stevenson, and was a member of the First Assembly of God. Mr. Stevenson is survived by his two sons, Eddie E. Stevenson, Jr. (Teresa), of Cherrydale, NC; Ernest Stevenson (Missy) of Clinton; his two special sons, Junior Pace of the home and Vernon Pace of Laurens; his two daughters, Denita Huey (Allen) of Cross Hill and Margaret Tripp (Matthew) of Joanna; his brother Gary Chitwood of Newberry; his five half-brothers, Shannon Russ, Willie Earl Eubanks, Wayne Eubanks, Shan Eubanks, and Bobby Eubanks; his five half-sisters, Gail Eubanks, Darlene Bright, Betty Eubanks, Diane Holden, and Tiny Eubanks; his ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
