Liturgy of the Word will be celebrated at 10a.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at San Jose Catholic Church. Deacon, Antonio Dominguez will be the celebrant.

Visitation will be 1-7 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2019 at West Funeral Home Chapel followed by a Prayer Vigil. Eddie Gutierrez Martinez was born November 11, 1962 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Edsvardo D. and Laura Aurelia Gutierrez Martinez. Eddie work for many years with the Dawson Surveys, Inc..

He enjoyed riding bikes and studying the law, he was a lifetime member of San Jose Catholic Church. Eddie loved his family, but especially being with his children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; Edsvardo and Aurelia “Laura” Gutierrez Martinez and sisters, Priscilla G. and Diana G. Eddie is survived by his wife Adela Martinez, children Donavan Martinez, Dillion Martinez, Daniel Martinez, Eddie Martinez, Jr., Monique “Momo” Martinez brothers; Abel G. Martinez, Alberto G. and Zelma Lopez, Carlos G. and Terri Lopez and Miguel G. Lopez, is 16 grandchildren and great grandchild.
