Edgar Niles MacDonald, age 78 of Westview, KY went to be with the Lord , Saturday, June 23, 2018. He was born in Kingswood, KY on January 7, 1940. Edgar retired from Texas Gas Transmissions and attended Kingswood Wesleyan Church.

He was a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Vietnam Era in South Korea. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, gardening and was described as a “tinkerer”. He was preceded in death by his father Billy MacDonald.

Edgar is survived by his wife of 38 years Sandra Anderson MacDonald Mother: Anna Moore Daughter: Melissa Lynn Vibbert 3 grandchildren: Olivia Hamilton, Merideth Burkhead and Nathan Vibbert 4 great grandchildren: Anderson and Joseph Hamilton, Penelope and Liam Burkhead Brother: John Moore 5 brothers-in-law: Charles, John and Marvin Anderson, Ervin Burnette and Larry Morris 5 sisters-in-law: Dixie and Esther Anderson, Barbara Burnette, Reba Morris and Anita Moore many cousins, nieces and nephews Funeral services will be held at Kingswood Wesleyan Church on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 11 AM. Burial will be in the Kingswood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Wednesday, 4-8 PM and Thursday 8 – 10:30 AM.

Expressions of sympathy are suggested to Kingswood Cemetery.
