Ronald T. “Tommy” Miller, age 69 of Hardinsburg, KY died Tuesday July 10, 2018 at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center. He was born in Hardinsburg, KY on June 23, 1949, the son of the late Carl Thomas and Imogene Fentress Miller. Tommy was an independent insurance agent and farmer.

He was a faithful member of Restoration Church. Tommy was a loving husband, father and grandfather and was adored by his family. He enjoyed watching and participating in tractor pulls and won several trophies.

He was quite the storyteller and shared many memories of “Miller Hill”. At an older age, he completed college and graduated with his daughter Chrisney. He taught biology and chemistry for several years in Louisville, KY before returning to Breckinridge County.

He was a motivator and according to his family – he could motivate you whether you wanted him to or not… He was very persistent in all he did and above all – he never gave up…. . Tommy is survived by his wife Brenda Taul Miller of Hardinsburg, KY 2 sons – Kent Miller and his wife Kelly of Hardinsburg, KY Derek Miller and his wife Tracy of Lanesville, IN 2 daughters – Chrisney Bush and her husband Mike of Louisville, KY Amanda Benzel and her husband Stephen of Louisville, KY 13 grandchildren: Kayla Lancaster and her husband Preston, Korey, Kendall, Kolton, Austin, Rachel, Brenna and Trevor Miller, Mike Bush, Jr., Samuel and AnnaKate Bush, Helen and Nicholas Benzel 1 great granddaughter – Kynlee Lancaster 1 sister – Linda McCloskey and her husband Bill of Bardstown, KY Funeral services will be held at Restorations Church in Hardinsburg, KY on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 11 AM CDT.

Burial will be in the New Clover Creek Cemetery near Hardinsburg, KY. Visitation will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Friday, 4-8 PM CDT and Saturday at the church after 9 AM CDT. Expressions of sympathy are suggested to Restorations Church 511 Old Highway 60, Suite 8 Hardinsburg, KY 40143.
