K. T. Lucas, age 80 of Westview, KY died Monday, 9-24-2018 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. He was born in Breckinridge County, KY on July 31, 1938, the son of the late Jimmy and Mary Belle Sosh Lucas. K. T. retired from LG & E as a heavy equipment operator and attended Emmanuel Fellowship Church.

He enjoyed socializing, trading knives and guns and was a member of the Hardee’s morning group. He loved his family and attended many events in which his grandchildren were involved. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Marvin, Gilbert, Ralph, Eugene and Tommy Lucas, Lucille Carman and Louise Hale.

K. T. is survived by his wife Barbara Lucas of Westview, KY son and daughter-in-law: Jeff and Susan Lucas of Westview, KY 3 grandchildren: Mariah, Wyatt and Caden Lucas 2 brothers: Roger Lucas (Nancy) of Hardinsburg, KY Larry Lucas (Debbie) of Madrid, KY 2 sisters: Ina Armes of Garfield, KY Doris Butler (Finley) of Westview, KY many nieces and nephews Funeral services will be held at Emmanuel Fellowship Church on Friday, September 28, 2018 at 12 PM. Burial will be in the Hudson Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Thursday, 4-8 PM and Friday at the church after 9 AM.

Expressions of sympathy are suggested to Hudson Cemetery or Emmanuel Fellowship Cemetery.
