Edna Braswell, 91, of Phenix City, AL passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018 at the Columbus Hospice House in Columbus, GA. A funeral service will be held 3:00 pm Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Vance Memorial Chapel. Internment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 2:00 to 3:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home. Mrs. Braswell was born September 27, 1926 daughter of the late Teal Gamble and Ozie Gamble Criminger. She retired after 31 years of service at Columbus Mills.

After retiring, she worked another 24 years running Brass Sign Company. + She is survived by her loving husband Paul Braswell of Phenix City, AL; one daughter, Terri Missildine and husband Ricky of Phenix City, AL; two sons, Ken Braswell and Vickie of Columbus, GA and Rodney Braswell and wife Valerie of Phenix City, AL; a sister, Geraldine Taylor of Columbus, GA; a brother, Pete Gamble of Columbus, GA; grandchildren, Amber, Alexis, Matt, Katie, Kaila, Kason and Cora; six great-grandchildren and several extended family members.
