Edna’s Obituary Edna Meyer age 74 passed away at her home in Kingsville, Missouri on Wednesday February 13, 2019. Edna was born on May 30, 1944 in White Cloud, Missouri, the daughter of Jimmie Crow Wallen and Lula Maye (Wall) Wallen. Edna grew up in Bentonville, Missouri and later attended Warsaw High School.

Edna was very close to her eldest sister Violet living with her as a teenager and even working as a waitress in Violet’s restaurant. On April 14, 1963 Edna was united in marriage to Larry Meyer. They lived in Warsaw, Missouri until 1969.

Then in 1969 they decided to move to Lenexa, Kansas and then to Shawnee, Kansas where they raised their two children. Edna worked in the grocery business for many years and the last job she held was for Deluxe Check Printing until retirement. In 2007, Larry and Edna decided to move to Kingsville, Missouri to enjoy their retirement in a small town.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Violet C. Hill, and Faye Carol Quigley, and her brothers, Neil Wallen, Ivan Wallen, and Roy Wallen who died in infancy. She is survived by her husband, Larry Meyer, of Kingsville, Missouri, her son Michael Meyer and wife, Trish, of Raymore, Missouri, her daughter Michelle Millican and husband, Scott, of Blue Springs, Missouri. Edna is also survived by her five grandchildren Corey Meyer, Makenzie Meyer, Brevin Millican, Cade Millican, and Kellen Millican.

Edna is also survived by two brothers, Carl Wallen of Fallbrook, California, and David Wallen and wife, Judy, Kansas City, Missouri, and one sister, Linda McMillin and husband, Danny, of Warsaw, Missouri. She also has many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends. Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 22, 2019 at 1:00 P.M., at the Reser Funeral Home, Warsaw, MO.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the American Lung Association. Arrangements under the direction of the Reser Funeral Home, Warsaw, MO.
