Edward “Mack” Adkins, 67, of Connersville passed away Monday morning, November 12, 2018, at Reid Health, Richmond. One of two sons of George and Berline Vyers Adkins, Mack was born in Detroit, Michigan on September 16, 1951. On June 7, 1988, Mack married Lisa S. Becker in Mesa, Arizona.

Lisa survives. Mack was employed in the Hot Metal Division at McLouth Steel in Trenton, Michigan, retiring after 30 years of service. In his leisure time, he enjoyed watching pro and college football, especially the Oakland Raiders.

An avid sports fan, Mack also enjoyed watching golf and baseball. Besides his wife of 30 years, Lisa Becker of Connersville, survivors include two daughters, Trina Aponoves of Riverview, Michigan and Kellie Adkins of Sacramento, California; two grandchildren, Malachi and Willow Aponoves of Michigan; a brother, Mickey (Lynette) Adkins of Erin, Tennessee; an uncle, Larry Adkins of Erin, Tennessee; two aunts, Ophelia Adkins-Jones of Erin, Tennessee and Margaret Hamer of Crescent City, Florida; father-in-law, Ben Becker of Liberty, Indiana; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mack was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; and mother-in-law, Donna Becker.

Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside committal at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 17, 2018 in Lick Creek Cemetery. Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. Online condolences may be made anytime at millermosterrobbins.com.
