Edward Massey McGill, 73, of Dawson passed away at Willson Hospice House on September 20, 2018. A memorial service will be held at Harvey Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 23, 2018. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Ed was born in Americus on July 26, 1945.

He was the CEO of Coastal Seafood. He was an avid golfer and loved the outdoors and cooking. Preceding him in death were his parents, Sam McGill and Marion Massey McGill; brother, David McGill; and daughter, Denise Ross.

Survivors include his wife, Tammie Hufstetler McGill; children, Lori Dodd and James Edward McGill; and sister, Elise Mathes.
