Obituary for Edward Wright Edward William Wright Columbia Edward William Wright , 67, passed away after a short illness on December 18, 2018 at a Bangor Veteran’s Home. He was born in Jonesport December 24, 1950 the son of the late Winfred and Sarah (Tracy) Wright. He attended Jonesport Schools, and following graduation went on to proudly serve his country in the U.S. Army.
He then worked as a custodian for 32 years for SAD #37 Schools. He loved hunting and fishing, and especially going to hunting camp with friends Mike Bailey , Ricci Moore , and Morton Thaxter. He enjoyed tying flies, and reloading.
He was a member of Tuscan Masonic Lodge #106 in Addison. He had a great love for family, and really loved the time he spent with them, especially playing with his grandson. He is survived by, and will be greatly miss by his wife of 42 years Belinda S (More) Wright ; children Elwin Wright and Partner Jillian Santos ; 2 brothers Ennis and Ivan Wright of Jonesport ; a sister Laura Chipman of Addison ; grandchildren Gage Wright .
Celine Bean, and Ivy Sue Beal ; several nieces , nephews, and cousins; and special friends Benny Pratt, and Brian Hartford. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a brother Harold Wright ; and four sisters- Mary Wright Simmons , Maxine Wright Stewart , Irene Wright , and Doris Wright. The family would also like to thank Belinda’s best friend Violet Grant for all of her help to the family.
A Celebration of his life will be held from 2-4pm on Saturday January 26, 2019 at the Wreaths Across America Building (former Columbia Falls School).
