Obituary for Eileen M. Kelsall Eileen M. Kelsall, 95, passed away peacefully, in her home, on April 5, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 10, 1922 in Nova Scotia, Canada. Her parents, Harvey and Elizabeth Stoddard and their five children immigrated to the United States in 1925.

Eileen was a true representative of the ”Greatest Generation”, a selfless wife, mother, and homemaker, entirely devoted to her family. Ever a lady, Eileen was a wonderful and kind person, who possessed a generous, giving spirit that knew no bounds. She was beloved by us all.

Eileen was a military wife, following her husband, the late Philip Kelsall, wherever the United States Air Force required him to be. The family was stationed at various bases, literally from the east coast (Dover AFB, Delaware) to the west coast (Vandenberg AFB, California). Eileen and Philip moved to Fort Collins following his retirement from the Air Force.

Her interests included cooking and entertaining family and friends, always a gracious hostess. She enjoyed various, crafts, and creative projects. She loved the outdoors, camping trips with the family, and golfing with her husband and sons.

Eileen and Phil were devoted members of the First United Methodist Church of Fort Collins, and participated in various church related activities. Eileen is survived by her three children, Douglas (Amber) Kelsall, Matthew (Jill) Kelsall, and Marsha Lowsley; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Eileen was predeceased by her parents, Harvey and Elizabeth Stoddard; brothers, Gordon, Neil and Earnest Stoddard; and twin sister, Jean Fuller; eldest son, Daniel Kelsall; son-in-law, David W. Lowsley, II; grandson, Patrick (Mac) Kelsall; grandson-in-law, Brandon Fry, and her husband of 63 years, Philip Kelsall.

Our family would like to express our sincere appreciation to the staff of Pathways Hospice for the care and support given our beloved mother and to the family. A private family Memorial Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Pathways Hospice or the First United Methodist Church, Fort Collins, CO.
