60, of Johnson City passed away in the earliest of hours Sunday, May 6th, 2018. Elaine is predeceased by her father Martin V. Cwikla and daughter Erica L. Jamgochian. She is survived by her mother Cecelia J. Cwikla; brother Robert M. Cwikla and his wife Kristin; children Jessica, Michael, and Robert; nieces and nephew Kaitlin, Courtney, and Matthew; grandson Trevor Daniel; and granddogs Daz and Pete.

Elaine or “Mrs. McBride” was a devoted mother and friend; her greatest pride was her four children. She enjoyed her time outdoors gardening and had an enormous heart for animals. Elaine excelled as an artist building and designing costumes for local high schools, community productions, and dance studios.

She had an eye for theatrical makeup and in her spare time would create prom gowns. Elaine never passed up an opportunity to laugh and share her love with those close to her. She was also a member of Maine Chapter 599 Order of the Eastern Star, Maine, NY.

Elaine’s family would like to give special thanks to the team of nurses in the Transitional Care Unit at Binghamton General Hospital who made the last months of Elaine’s life more enjoyable. The family will greet friends starting at 10am at All Saints Episcopal Church Friday, May 11th with a memorial service to follow at 11am. Memorial contributions can be made to the charity of your choice or All Saints Episcopal Church, 475 Main Street, Johnson City, NY, 13790.
