Emerson D. Chandler, 82, of Johnson City passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday May 2, 2018. He was predeceased by his wife Shirley, parents Dana and Bertha, twin brother Edward, son Dana. He is survived by his daughters Beth Hawley and Lori Johnson, Michele and Peter Robinson; brother and sister in law Clair and Marge Chandler of PA; sister Delores Rogoff of Vestal; 2 Grandchildren Sydney Paige Robinson and John Emerson Robinson; Also several nieces and nephews.

He retired from the Johnson City Fire Department, Johnson City School District, UHS Transportation. He loved Dancing, Food, Karoke, NASCAR and people. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday at 7pm at the Barber Memorial Home, Inc. 428 Main Street Johnson City.

The Rev. Dan Baker will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday at 5pm until the time of the service.
