Elizabeth’s Obituary Long time Alaska resident, Elizabeth (Betsy) Ann Grimm-Ives passed away peacefully with her husband, George by her side. She was born on December 19, 1939 in Wausau, Wisconsin. Betsy was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin.

She was passionate about her Poodles, antiques and reading. Betsy loved being a grandmother to Will and Emma, they were a constant joy in her life. She found comfort throughout her life from her poodles and was never without them by her side.

On January 15, 2019 she was reunited and greeted into the heavens by her savior the Lord Jesus Christ and her former poodles: Alice, Pogo, Megan, Zachey and Annabelle. She is survived by her husband, George; her daughter Holly; son-in-law Ron; grandson Will; granddaughter Emma and her three poodles (Champ, Nikki and Molly). You will be forever in our hearts and dearly missed.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 18, 12:30pm, at the First United Methodist Church located 725 W 9th Ave in Anchorage. Graveside services will follow at Fort Richardson cemetery.
