Elizabeth “Betty”‘s Obituary Elizabeth G. (Betty) Schreiber, 86, of Schwenksville, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2019. She was the beloved wife of George J. Schreiber. Betty and George were entering their 54th year of marriage upon her death.

Born April 22, 1933, in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Rose (Scullion) McLaughlin. Betty was registrar assistant at Gwynedd Mercy College. She was a parishioner of Saint Eleanor Parish, Collegeville.

For all that knew her she was a very generous and loving person, a very friendly neighbor to all that surrounded her. Her family will miss her culinary skills in the kitchen. Mostly, Betty will be remembered for being a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother.

Along with her husband she is survived by three children, Cathy Schmidt (George), Harleysville, Jim Schreiber (Dee Dee), Queenstown, MD, and Jeanne Culbreath (Jim), Hatfield; nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Rosemary Nessler, Trinity, FL. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Kristen and siblings, Mary Pat Carroll and Nancy Prechtel. The family will receive friends from 9:45 a.m. until 10:50 a.m. Thursday, May 23, 2019, at Saint Eleanor Parish, 647 Locust St., Collegeville, PA 19426, with the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne, PA.
