Elizabeth’s Obituary Elizabeth Mae Grimes Tomlin, 85, of Winchester, Virginia, died Thursday, January 31, 2019 at the Winchester Medical Center. Mrs. Tomlin was born December 21, 1933 in Middleburg, Virginia, daughter of the late Hallie Grimes and Ruth Welch Grimes. She worked at American Woodmark.

She married Broaddus Henry Tomlin on August 11, 1951 in Frederick, Maryland. Mr. Tomlin just preceded her in death on January 28, 2019 after 67 years of marriage. Surviving are daughters, Diane T. Veverka of Surfside Beach, SC and Jeanne T. Edmonson of Winchester, VA; four grandchildren, Jason C. Anderson of North Las Vegas, NV, Michelle Anderson Cain of Hagerstown, MD, Joshua D. Edmonson of Stephens City, VA, and Nicole Tomlin Warner of Marshall, VA; six great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

Her son, Dwayne H. Tomlin, and sisters, Monrovia May and Betty Wilson, and brothers, Charles Grimes, Allen Grimes and Melton Grimes, all preceded her in death. A funeral service will be held 11:00 A. M. Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Enders & Shirley Funeral Home Chapel, Berryville, with Rev. Keiko Foster officiating.

Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery, Berryville. Pallbearers will be Jason Anderson, Michael Perry, Lindsay Dodd, Joshua Edmonson, Michael Warner, and Doug Hardy. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P. M. Monday evening at the funeral home.
