Mary’s Obituary Mary Anne Holien, 84, of White Post, Virginia, died Saturday, March 30, 2019 at her home. Mrs. Holien was born May 5, 1934 in Toms Brook, Virginia, daughter of the late Giles Walton and Catherine McWilliams Walton. She was a secretary for PG School System.

She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Greenbelt, Maryland. She married Wayne Allen Holien on June 10, 1954 in Rockville, Maryland. Mr. Holien died on October 8, 2017.

A giving soul that will be missed by her son, Mark Holien and his wife, Michelle, of White Post, VA; daughter-in-law, Linda Holien of Greenbelt, MD; sister, Marlene Keeler of Crownsville, MD; grandsons, Matthew and Joshua Holien; granddaughter, Jessica Spulka; and great-granddaughters, Hailey Holien and Angelina Tackett. Her son, Eric Holien, sisters, Josephine Walton and Shirley Byrd, and brothers, Terry and Lanny Walton, all preceded her in death. A memorial service date is to be determined.

Burial will be at a later date in Cool Spring Natural Cemetery, Berryville, VA. Memorial contributions may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork St., Winchester, VA 22601.
