Linda’s Obituary Linda Katherine Poole, 79, of Winchester, Virginia, passed away from lung disease on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at home with hospice care. Mrs. Poole was born November 1, 1939 in Whitinsville, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late Leona Bourdon Riley and Howard Riley. She was educated in the Northbridge Public School System and later graduated from Northern Virginia Community College as a registered nurse and started her career at Warren Memorial Hospital.

She later was the owner of Teacher’s Secret in Winchester. She was a member of the WMC Auxiliary where working in the gift shop with Betty was so enjoyable. For the past several years Lady-friends have enjoyed many hours together and playing cards at Godfrey Miller and at her home weekly.

A big thanks to Home Instead and Blue Ridge Hospice for their exceptional and loving care and Dr. Wolfe’s 30 years of wonderful care. She is survived by her son, Bruce Davidson, Jr. (Kellie); daughters, Susan Reinsberg (Bill) and Pamela Davidson-Wilson (Tom); grandchildren, Katie, Bob, Rachel and Michael; her former husband, Bruce Davidson, Sr; her beloved feline, Taffy; many cousins; and special nieces and nephews of the Davidson-Riley and Lawson-Poole families. Her second husband, William Ernest Poole, preceded her in death on November 14, 2002.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 A. M. – 1:00 P. M. Monday, April 1, 2019 at Enders & Shirley Funeral Home, Berryville, VA. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, memo: Lung Cancer Research, 9702 Gayton Rd. , Suite 110, Richmond, VA 23238 or to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork St., Suite 405, Winchester, VA 22601.
