Mrs. Ellen Curl Jeter, 80, of Lebanon, TN. passed away Friday, December 28, 2018 at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Jeter was born January 18, 1938 in Swainsboro, Georgia to the late Raymond Curl and Bessie Curl.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Melvis Jeter; son, Mark Coxwell; brother, Jerry Curl; sister, Wylene Scott. Mrs. Jeter was a resident of Swainsboro and owner operator of Lakeside Rest Home for 30 years, until moving with her daughter 15 years ago to Lebanon, TN. She loved animals, flowers, cooking, and playing cards with her sister.

Mrs. Jeter was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include her son, Charles Coxwell of Swainsboro; daughter, Sharon Archer (Randy) and Susan Garner (Kevin) both of Lebanon, TN. ; brother, Henry Curl (Betty) of Swainsboro; sister, Dolly Newsome, Eloise Trull (Billy), Debra Alford, Cherry Allen (Johnny) all of Swainsboro; 12 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral Services will be in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 30, 2018 with Rev. Joe Bedgood officiating. Interment will follow at Eastbrook Cemetery & Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends 1-hour prior to service at Chapmen Funeral Home. Pallbearers are grandsons. Condolences may be expressed at www.
