Ellen Wisdom January 10, 1926 – March 16, 2019 Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Ellen Wisdom daughter of the late Stella Rodel Newcom and Windle Newcom was born in Brookland, Arkansas, on January 10, 1926. She departed this life at Salem Care Center in Salem, Missouri, on March 16, 2019, at the age of 93. On January 10, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri, Ellen was united in marriage to Ira Wisdom and to this union four children were born.

Ira preceded her in death on June 10, 2005. Ellen was a member of the Little Vine Church in Bunker. Her hobbies included gardening, cooking, sewing and quilting.

She also loved animals especially her dogs. In addition to her parents and husband, Ellen was preceded in death by two sons, DeWayne Wisdom and Leroy Wisdom, one daughter, Sharon Ann Wisdom, one granddaughter, Leanna Kay Wisdom, three brothers, Preston Newcom, Cletis Newcom and Doug Newcom and one sister, Marie Cornman. Ellen is survived by one son, Erbie Wisdom and Barb of Bunker, Missouri, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Ellen will be deeply missed by her family and friends who will mourn her passing.
