Hartselle Funeral service for Elsie Evans, 89, will be Friday, October 19, 2018 at 11:00 AM at First Church of the Nazarene with Bro. Scott Sessions officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Cullman City Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home. Mrs. Evans died on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born July 7, 1929, in Morgan County to Henry and Ada Whitehead.

She was employed by Nicholson File, for 20 years, prior to her retirement. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Mrs. Evans was preceded in death by her husband: Leon William (Bill) Evans, her parents and a son: Steve Jonathan Evans.

Survivors include : One Son: Billy Ray Evans (Mary Nell) Two Daughters: Margaret Stinson (Steve) and Tina Rogers (Charlie) Twelve Grandchildren Twenty-one Great Grandchildren and Five Great Great Grandchildren Pallbearers will be Blake McNutt, Dustin McNutt, Randy Rogers, Chad Evans, Michael Evans and Darryl Williams.
