Obituary of Elsie Ringer Elsie I. Ringer, 98, formerly of 475 Willard Street, died Wednesday April 11, 2018, in Heritage Village Rehab and Skilled Nursing. A lifelong area resident, she was born March 11, 1920, in Dunkirk, NY, a daughter of the late Albert and Pearl Salisbury Lundgren. She was a 1939 graduate of Celoron High School.

Prior to her retirement she was employed by several area restaurants including Embers, Ten Pin and Lakewood Rod and Gun Club. She enjoyed bowling and golfing and even golfed in a league until age 91. She loved the winters she spent in Myrtle Beach.

Surviving are two daughters Dixie Rodgers and Laurel (Jim) Dille, both of Jamestown; eight grandchildren Ashley (Greg) Noon of Jamestown, Brian (Missy) Hokanson of Falconer, Allison Turner of Jamestown, Bobbi Turner of Maryland, David Turner, Carolyn (Thomas) Farace, Karen (Robert) Ponsford and Richard Wagner all of Texas’ eleven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren and a brother Albert Lundgren of Colorado. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Ringer, whom she married January 10, 1941 and who died April 20, 2007; a daughter Arvilla Wagner; a grandson Quincy Turner and a brother Robert Lundgren. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Monday in the Lind Funeral Home.

Rev. Dayle Keefer will officiate. Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service Monday in the funeral home.
