Elton Houston Paul, Sr. August 11, 1937 – January 20, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries Elton Houston Paul, Sr., age 81 of Malvern rejoined his family in Heaven Sunday January 20, 2019. He was born August 11, 1937 in Harp to the late James Elbert and Mordicai (Cunningham) Paul. Elton served in the US Navy from November 4, 1954-December 5, 1963.

He was a disabled Veteran. He retired in 1996 as Superintendent of Buddy Bean Lumber Company. Elton was President of the Arkansas Fox and Wolf Hunters Association and was an avid fox hunter who bred, raised and field trialed running walkers.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Elwood Paul, sisters Ruby Jean Stem, Billy Jo Brooks, Glenna Fay Sparks, Vernice Heard and Shirley Glenn, grandchild Nicholas Paul. Survivors include his wife of 22 years Rebecca “Becky” Lee Paul, sons Elton Paul, Jr. (Maria) of Malvern, Nicky Jo Paul of Stanton, NY, daughter Candi Williams of Poyen, stepdaughter Misty Reed (Joe) of Malvern, stepson Cee Jay Thompson (Becky) of Greeneville, TN, granddaughters Shelby Brown (Corey) of Arkadelphia, Summer Paul of Russellville, Autumn Paul of Malvern, Kira Paul of Malvern, Abigail Reed of Ruston, LA, grandsons Houston Paul of Malvern, Dagen Dial of Poyen, Austin Paul (Adnaloy) of Swansboro, NC, Caleb Fuesling of Diamondhead, Nathan Farley of Greeneville, TN, Easton Reed of Malvern, Remington Thompson of Greeneville, TN, great grandsons Lucky Dial of Hot Springs and Max Brown of Arkadelphia, great granddaughter Ruby Jo Brown of Arkadelphia and a great granddaughter due in April. Visitation will be Wednesday January 23, 6:00-8:00 pm at Regency Funeral Home.

Services will be Thursday January 24, at Regency Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Johnny Bratton officiating. Burial will be at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock. Time will be announced later.

Pallbearers will be Houston Paul, Austin Paul, Caleb Fuesling, Dagen Dial, Larry Dial, Joe Reed and Corey Brown. Honorary Pallbearers will be Easton Reed, Remington Thompson and Nathan Farley. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to CARTI Cancer Center, 8901 Carti Way, Little Rock, AR 72205 Arrangements by Regency Funeral Home.
