Elwood A. Reed, 86, of Oley passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018 at Reading Hospital. Born January 11, 1932 in Hyde Park, he was a son of the late Charles and Magdelena (Feichtinger) Reed. He was also preceded in death by his son Billy A. Reed and siblings Mildred, Richard, Donald, Miriam, and Verna.

A retired truck driver from Berks Products, he was a member of the Teamsters Union and proud U.S. Army Korean War veteran. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but family was most important to him as a devoted husband, father, and provider. Surviving are his wife of 63 years Delphine O. (Pettigrew) Reed; daughters Bonnie A., wife of Robin Honaberger of Danville and Audrey A., wife of Lee Wells of Pine Grove; sister Janet A. Diezel of Leesport; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

A graveside service, with military honors, will be held 11:00 AM Monday, May 21, 2018 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Indiantown Gap National Cemetery Memorial Council, RR #2, Box 484, Annville, PA 17003.
