Enoch’s Obituary Enoch David Tussey, Jr. age 94 of Tussey Avenue, Lexington passed away Wednesday evening, January 17, 2019 at his home. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Monday January 21, 2019 in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Clyde Akers officiating. Burial in Lexington City Cemetery with full military honors by the United States Army Burial Detail.

The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Sunday night. Enoch was born in Davidson County, August 22, 1924 to Enoch David Tussey (Bud), Sr. and Cora Sains Tussey. He was a member of Second Reformed United Church of Christ; he was a retired veteran with 30 years of service in the US Army having served in WWII, Korean and Vietnam Wars, and after retiring from the military he worked and retired from RJR in Winston Salem and worked at Tussey’s Pine Shop.

He also loved animals and play Bingo. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Wilma Thomason Tussey in 1998 and several brothers and sisters. Surviving are his sons, Larry Tussey (Cheryl) and Ricky Tussey (Brenda) all of Lexington; grandchildren, Jeff Tussey (Janet), Tammy Allen (Robbie), Brandon Tussey (Chrissy Gardener), Donnie Poplin, Johnny Hyder (Marlene) and Dewayne Tussey; 20 great grandchildren, Danielle, Tori, Jake, Journey, Zackary, Chris, Breanna, Hannah, Alyssa, Nicole, Andrew, Preston, Jessica, Holly, Levi, Brittany, Christian, Raven, Dolton and Brooke; and 5 great-great grandchildren, Indica, Colystn, Gage Liam,and Casen.
