William “Bill”‘s Obituary William ‘Bill’ Terry Lowery, 77, of Lexington passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at his home. Funeral services will be 2pm Thursday, January 17 at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington with Sister Emma Milam and Brother Kenneth Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Lexington City Cemetery with military rites.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 – 1:30pm Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home. Bill was born on June 5, 1941 in Davidson County to Terry Alexander Lowery and Dorothy Brogdon Lowery. He was a retired cook for Smokey Joe’s Restaurant and proudly served in the United States Navy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Brenda Thompson and nephew, Preston Thompson. Surviving are his sons, Michael Lowery (Jennifer) of Lexington, Steven Lowery of Trinity; daughter, Terrie Miller (Max) of Lexington; brother, Eddie Lowery of Lexington; and five grandchildren, Jordan Lowery, Tori Lowery, C.J. Lowery, Cole Lowery and Tyler Wilfong. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517 Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517.
