James’ Obituary James Henderson Tilley, 73, of Reedy Creek Road in Lexington passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at his home. Funeral services will be held 2pm Sunday, February 24 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel – Hickory Tree with Rev. Stan Tuttle officiating the service.

Burial will follow at Good Hope Church Cemetery. Visitation with family and friends will be held 5-7pm Saturday, February 23 at Davidson Funeral Funeral Home – Hickory Tree. Mr. Tilley was born on September 17, 1945 in Stokes County, NC to Perry Oscar Tilley and Eva Cox Hulin.

He worked as a lathe operator for RJ Reynolds and was of the Methodist faith. James had many interests including coaching ball, as well as giving private hitting lessions, and he loved to fish. He owned Four Seasons Trophy Shop and he also owned West Track Speedway.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Juanita Hedrick.
