Obituary for Ernest Frederick Rosener Ernest Frederick Rosener, 85, of Red Wing, died Thursday, December 20, 2018, at the St. Crispin Living Community surrounded by his family. He was born December 23, 1932, in Red Wing, to Fred and Ellen (Hanson) Rosener and attended high school in Goodhue. He was united in marriage to Frances Schuck on Nov.

9, 1952 in Mantorville. They moved to Red Wing where he worked at the Red Wing Shoe Company. He was a member of the BPOE Red Wing Elks Lodge #845.

His hobbies included golfing, wood working, fishing, motorcycles and snowmobiles, traveling, camping with the grandchildren and auto racing. He is survived by his children, Linda (Lonnie) Nelson of Lake City, Arne (Arlene) Rosener of Amboy, Dave (Gina) Rosener of Shell Lake, WI. and Nancy Rosener of Red Wing; 9 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances in 2013 and his sisters, Winifred Jewell and Geraldine Furney. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2018, at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel with Debby Bradley officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday, December 28, and for one hour prior to the service all at the funeral home.
