Obituary for Estelle C Waibel Estelle C. (Weinzapfel) Waibel, 93, of Mt. Vernon, passed away Monday, July 30, 2018 at the Linda E. White Hospice House. Estelle was born September 1, 1924 in Posey County, IN to the late Frank and Elizabeth (Schenk) Weinzapfel.

She was a member of St. Philip Catholic Church and the Ladies Club at the church. Estelle volunteered for many years at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. Surviving Estelle are her two sons, Randall (Catherine “psam” Ordener) Waibel of Friendswood, TX and Roger Waibel of Evansville; one sister, Anita Rexing of Mt.

Vernon and two grandchildren, Albert and William Ordener-Waibel. In addition to her parents, Estelle was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Waibel in 1971; by four sisters, Cornelia Niemeier, Helen Martin, Agnes Newton and Isabell Dugan and by six brothers, Sylvester, Edwin, Clarence “Dick”, Bert, Jim and Julius Weinzapfel. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at St. Philip Catholic Church, Rev.

Claude Burns officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Philip Church Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 AM until service time on Thursday at St. Philip Catholic Church, 3500 S. St. Philip Road, Mt.

Vernon, IN 47620. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Philip Catholic Church. Condolences may be made online at www.
