Obituary for Eric E. Hostettler Eric E. Hostettler, 67, of Poseyville, IN passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at the Linda E. White Hospice House. Eric was born July 11, 1951 in Evansville to the late Earl and Esther (Hollingsworth) Hostettler. He served in the United States Navy for eight years and retired from Duke Energy.

Eric loved a good cup of coffee, old cars, hunting, his dogs, Chief, Gus and Sara and his cats, Parsnip, Two Kettle and Cleo. Eric is survived by his wife of 33 years, Susan (Hamman) Hostettler; two daughters, Becky Hostettler of Indianapolis and Cathi (Greg) East of Poseyville; sisters, Karen (Bob) Hammonds, Rachel Villines and Erin (Jeff) Knight, all of Evansville; brothers, Tom (Carla) Hostettler of Elberfeld, Roger (Bonnie) Hostettler of London, KY, Dan (Lynda) Hostettler of Mt. Vernon, John (Beth) Hostettler of Wadesville, Ethan (Rick) Hostettler of Owensboro, KY and Roy (Stephanie) Hostettler of Evansville and a grandson, Tim East.

In addition to his parents, Eric was preceded in death by a grandson, Tyler East and by a brother-in-law, Bruce Villines. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 until 6:00 PM on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street. Private graveside services and burial will be held at Tupman Cemetery.
