Estelle Wilson Barber, 75, of 1213 Oak Hill Road, Danville, VA, died Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at UNC Rockingham Health Care in Eden, North Carolina after a decline in her health for the past two years. Born in Pittsylvania County, VA, on March 9, 1943, Estelle was a daughter of the late Raymond Allen Wilson and Mary Long Wilson. She lived most of her life in Pittsylvania County, VA, and was a homemaker.

She was of the Baptist faith, and enjoyed gardening, sewing, and spending time with her grandchildren. On October 11, 1962 Estelle was married to the Reverend Randy “Blake” Barber, who survives. In addition to her husband, of the residence, she is survived by two sons, Tim Barber (Kim), of Brosville, VA, and Jeff Barber (Lori), of Brosville, VA; three grandchildren; one great grandchild; two sisters; and one brother.

Estelle was predeceased by one brother. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at the Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel with Pastor Doug Barber and the Reverend Randy Barber officiating. A private interment will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at the funeral home from 12:30 until 2:00 P.M. and at other times they will be at the Tim Barber residence, 925 Oak Hill Road, Brosville, VA.
