Dr. Steve Jerome Reid, Sr., 67, of 2302 Robinhood Dr., Danville, VA, passed away on Monday, February 11, 2019 at Hillcrest Convalescent Center, Durham, NC.

Born January 25, 1951 in Danville, VA, he was the son of the late John Cosby and Rosetta Reid. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. Survivors include two daughters, Melinda Averett and Stephanie Reid both of Danville, VA; one son, Steve Reid, Jr. of Danville, VA and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at the residence. Funeral services are incomplete at this time and will be announced when completed. Fisher and Watkins Funeral Home is assisting the Reid family.
