Ella Carnell Ferguson Saunders May 01, 1930 – March 29, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries| Send Sympathy Card Ella Carnell Ferguson Saunders, 88, of 2125 Gwenn Lane, Ringgold, VA, passed away, Friday, March 29, 2019 at Roman Eagle Memorial Home, Danville, VA. Born May 1, 1930 in Pittsylvania County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Harvey Timothy Ferguson and Edith Oliver Ferguson. She was married to the late Olin Saunders, Sr. Survivors include two daughters, Myra Saunders Pugh (Kalvin) of Glen Allen, VA and Karen McClendon (Virgil) of Cherry Hill, NJ; two sons, Olin Saunders, Jr. (Comellia) of Pinehurst, NC and Stanley Saunders of Pennsylvania; one brother, Bernard Ferguson (Melissa) of Fayetteville, NC; one brother-in-law, Lawrence and a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two sisters, Cora Williams and Joanna Lipscomb. The family will receive friends at the residence. Funeral services are incomplete at this time and will be announced once completed.

Fisher and Watkins Funeral Home is assisting the Saunders family.
