Rev. Floyd Orlander Jones December 17, 1940 – March 22, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Rev. Floyd O. Jones, 78, of 417 Warehouse Road, Blairs, VA, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2019 at Lynchburg General Hospital, Lynchburg, VA.

Born December 17, 1940 in Danville, VA, he was the son of the late Charlie and Minnie Adams Jones. He was married to Clara Jean Hodnett Jones, who survives. He was a Veteran of the United States Army Reserve.

In addition to his wife of the residences, survivors include one daughter, Vickie Jones of Lynchburg, VA; one son, Floyd E. Jones (Tabetha) of Raleigh, NC; three grandchildren, Floyd E. Jones, Jr. of Hampton, VA, Amaia Jones of Danville, VA and Elisha Rowan of Lynchburg, VA; two sisters, Elsie King of Blairs, VA and Geraldine Hunt of Danville, VA; three brothers, Rev. Nathaniel Jones of Blairs, VA, Freddie Jones (Shirley) of Richmond, VA and Therman Jones (Elnora) of Topeka, KS and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one son, Roulette Jones; three siblings, Elizabeth Bennett, Frances Bennett and Herman Jones.

The family will receive friends at the residences daily from 4-7 PM. Funeral services are incomplete at this time and will be announced when completed. Fisher and Watkins Funeral Home is assisting the Jones family.
